Crazy, cooky, mysterious, and yes, sometimes spooky, the ever-entertaining Nina West welcomes you to her world.

Nina West is the mind behind such brilliant large-scale productions that include Nina Network News, NINA! The Musical, NINA! The Rock Opera, A Million Little Ninas, NINA! The Confections Tour, Drag! The Musical, Nina! Heels of Horror, NINA! The Uber Musical,  Nina! Attention Whore, NINA! Pop, Nina!, Nina! Glam Clam, Heels of Horror: Deadtime Stories, Heels of Horror: Scared Stiff, Heels of Horror: A Nightmare on High Street, Nina’s Playhouse, and Once Upon a Nina. She has also worked in tandem with Virginia West on TWO, Dynamic Duo, Two Peas In A Pod, A West Family Christmas, A West Family Christmas Carol, Virginia and Nina’s Holiday Hullabaloo, Miss Peppermint Stick World, Miss Peppermint Stick Nationals, Miss Peppermint Stick Ohio, Nina and Virginia’s Holiday Special, and their most recent smash, Double Trouble.

Nina has performed and worked with Alec Mapa, Jai Rodriguez, Holly Madison, Bridgette Marquardt, Tiffany, Cazwell, Kat Deluna, Jennifer Holliday, Chely Wright, Paradiso Girls, Julie Brown, Richard Kline, Lady Bunny, Hedda Lettuce, Cashetta, Edie, Maya Douglas, Raven, Cezanne, Michelle Dupree, Lawanda Jackson, DeeRanged, MidnightRED, The Lady Chablis,  among others.

Nina is also a favorite of reality stars as well, having worked with Reichen Lemkuhl Of Amazing Race and A-List NYC, Austin Armacost & Derek Saathoff of A-List NYC, Althea Harper, Terri Stevens, and Kelli Martin of Project Runway fame, Dominique Reighard of America’s Next Top Model, as well as almost every contestant from Rupaul’s Drag Race including winners Bebe Zahara Benet and Raja, as well as Pandora Boxx, Juju Bee, Morgan McMichael, Shangela, Sonique, Yara Sofia, Jessica Wilde, Carmen Carrera, The Princess, and Season 4 fan-favorite Latrice Royale, among others.

She has been honored to perform for John Waters and former First Lady of Ohio, Mrs. Strickland. Nina has also worked hand-in-hand with many national touring companies, both performing with and for these casts, including casts from Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Phantom of the Opera, Mamma Mia, Light In the Piazza, The Lion King, Hairspray, and Aida. She has also be privileged enough to perform with the touring company of WICKED both in Columbus and San Diego in events helping to raise money for both local and national AIDS organizations.

One of Nina’s greatest accomplishments came in 2008 when she won Entertainer of the Year, F.I. in Louisville, Kentucky.

Nina West is also co-founder of Project: Zero Ohio, with friends Randy Sharma, M.D., and Steven Weaver, owner of the Candle Lab. By customizing high-quality local products and a planned series of charity events, the organization hopes to not only raise funds for local HIV/AIDS resources, but also reward donors with unique home products. All proceeds will be donated to community HIV/AIDS resources.

West’s charity work has helped to raise over $300,000 for local and national organizations.

West has served as hostess of HIGHBALL Halloween, the city’s annual Halloween party, held in the Short North on High Street. She will serve as hostess again this year, celebrating 5 years with the event and commemorating the city’s 200th anniversary.

Her style has been called camp, comedy, performance art, and political pop among other things. Whatever you choose to all it, know that you have never seen anything like Nina West.
