Thank you Jamison Pack and COTA!
Local organizations hold event on buses
to support local charity
COLUMBUS— Let the COTA #21 Night Owl do the driving along High Street on Dec. 2 while Columbus’ public transit fans, CBUS Transit and Low Carb(on) Columbus explore some of Downtown Columbus’ premier entertainment venues in support of local charity Project Zero. Public is invited to participate.
The mission of Project Zero is to assure that there are zero HIV/AIDS patients in the greater Columbus area that are not receiving standard care because they cannot afford it. This includes routine lab testing, nutritional supplements and medications. Visit http://projectzeroohio.com for additional information about the organization.
Event participants will meet at World of Beer (503 S. Front St.) at 7 p.m. where they will pick up a COTA pass, a wrist band and a free draft beer. The $5 event donation to Project Zero will provide additional specials along the event route.
After World of Beer, the group will travel to MoJoe Lounge on the Cap (600 N. High St.) and then Local Bar (913 N. High St.).
The Cheesy Truck will be waiting at the end of the bus trip to refuel participants while donating part of the sales to Project Zero.
Ultimately, the group will walk on to Axis Night Club for Project Zero’s Loud and Proud party with Columbus’ own Nina West and other live entertainment.
If someone cannot join the group at 7 p.m., CBUS Transit and Low Carb(on) Columbus will be Tweeting and Facebooking times and locations along the way.
More information on the event, CBUS Transit and Low Carb(on) Columbus, go to www.facebook.com/CbusTransit and lowcarbcolumbus.com.
